L'OREAL ELVIVE EXTRAORDINARY OIL

Recently, if you didn't already know, unless you follow my twitter(link in the sidebar) you'll know that i recently ombre/dip dyed the ends of my hair. Obviously as i have dark hair i had to use a bleach to get the blonde colour. I had it done professionally at a salon, but with any bleach it damages the hair; therefore i decided that i should get a oil for my hair that can help to hydrate and protect my ends. Even though my hair wasn't 'damaged' after the bleaching it was left a bit dry and dehydrated. I decided on purchasing the 'L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil' I brought the one for colour hair, for obvious reasons after hearing many youtubers rave about how great the product was.

The first thing i noticed when applying this, is that like most oils this was fairly thin and runny, most of the oils ive used in the past have been the opposite, quite thick. However the product is amazing! I use this everyday after ive washed my hair. I apply it in damp/towel dried hair before blow drying leaving my hair super soft, shiny and protected from any heat that i will follow with to style my hair. I love that it doesn't leave my hair feeling or looking greasy and it doesn't weigh down my hair. This one that is for colour hair also claims to help maintain and protect colour. This is the best hair oil ive tried and its fairly inexpensive costing around the £10 mark. I really recommend this product, it leaves my hair feeling so luxurious and smooth *touches hair*

  3. I love the Tresemee oil elixir when my hair is particularly frizzy and dry. I'll have to try this one next! The Body Shop coconut oil is also amazing for smoothing dry ends!
