LA ROCHE POSAY NEW EFFACLAR DUO+

La Roche Posay is a brand recommended by many people and dermatologists, therefore has always intrigued me to try some of there products. I'm pretty sure everyone and there dog has heard about the 'effaclar duo' which was raved about about by many bloggers and youtubers when it first came, claiming to be the 'last spot treatment cream you would use' -(big statement i know). So when i heard that the brand was bringing out a new and improved version -the 'effaclar duo +' I knew i'd have to give it ago.

The product itself is a serum like texture and claims to help reduce blemishes and imperfections, focusing mainly on unclogging pores and getting rid of the red/brown pigmentation spots which are left as scarring.
It promises to reduce redness in 24 hours and clear scarring in just 8 days.

I apply this all over my face like you would with a serum before my moisturizer. It feels refreshing on my face and doesn't sting or leave my face feeling sore. Like many La Roche Posay products the scent is rather strange -My friend thinks it smells like green tea? Yet its not strong and doesn't linger on the face.
This product has seriously improved my scarring already and i have only been using it for around 10 days, which i think is amazing. Within the first few days of using this product i could tell it was unclogging my pores as little blemishes and blackheads were surfacing on my nose -however the serum cleared them up perfectly! I am honestly amazed by this product and i recommend anyone to give it ago -especially if you suffer from blemishes and scarring. The effaclar duo+ is defiantly worth the hype and i will be going back for another tube when it runs out.

Whats are you thoughts? Have you tried any products from this brand?

  1. I've tried the original one and really like it. I thought it would just be another hyped up product, but I've found it really does help to minimise and reduce breakouts.
