GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend/half term but back to school now aye *cries*. Recently I picked up this new Garnier Micellar cleansing water, having not tried bioderma, i thought i would give this ago and see what its like. I've never actually tried anything like this before, however i really like the concept. -Its great for those lazy days when you cant be bothered to take your make up off (we all have them)

After reading some other blog reviews on this product i found out that this apparently contains exactly the same ingredients as the famous 'bioderma' which had many people raving about for ages since it first came out. I love that this is 'for even sensitive skin' which is great as when i'm taking my makeup off, especially eye makeup i don't want it to sting or irritate my skin. This took off my make up fairly well, but i did feel the need to wash my face with my normal cleanser afterwards to get the remaining makeup off. As for eye makeup, I was wearing a waterproof mascara. It struggled more than the average eye makeup remover but eventually managed to remove all of the mascara. However my mum also used this and it took off her face makeup and mascara perfectly. When using this it feels so refreshing on the skin which i love and really wakes me up. -I've been using this in the morning before i apply my makeup and its been working really well, i love it. It literally feels like your applying water to your face and doesn't sting what so ever. If you have sensitive skin i defiantly recommend trying it out. This only cost £4.99 and on the bottle claims that you will get 200 uses, so that's a bargain in my eyes.
Overall i really like this as a morning cleanser to remove any oils and dirt that may have produced throughout the night, as it feels really refreshing and calming. However as a makeup remover i wasn't amazed, but it got the job done. I defiantly feel like this is a handy product to have for on the go, or those lazy days.

  5. Yeah the Micellar water is great for a nice gentle cleanse but I don't use it if I have a full face of make-up on :) Wendy xx

Looks great! I've heard so much about Bioderma that I could do with trying this but I'm a big fan of using oils and balms. Find them to be very gentle. Lovely post :)

  9. I've heard so many amazing things about this being a dupe for the Bioderma one; I have yet to see them in Canada, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for it. Looking forward to this budget friendly alternative :)

  11. Well with that price it definitely beats Bioderma! I love that brands are jumping in the micellar water bandwagon! I hope they continue to improve their formula so you can use it at night too!!
