URBAN DECAY 'NAKED SKIN' CONCEALER

Hi pals, welcome back! Hope you're all well, how is it March already? Not that I'm complaining, I go to New York at the end of the month, I've never been before so I'm super excited. Please leave some recommendations in the comments below!

I was lucky enough to get  the Urban Decay 'Naked Skin' concealer for christmas last year after wanting to try it out for ages. I've had a few months to try it out so thought I'd share my opinion. I asked for the colour 'Fair Neutral' which is the lightest in  the range. I decided to go with this colour as I wanted a concealer I could use when I go out in the evening to get that Kim K highlight. 

The packaging is super simple and sleek which I really like. Nothing too fancy or over the top. This concealer has a dover applicator which holds sooo much product. Honestly, I think I could use one dip over my entire face. I don't wear concealer under my eyes on a daily basis as I don't particularly like wearing too much makeup to school, mainly because I'd rather have an extra 15 minuets in bed!

The consistency is so lovely, really rich and creamy which gives great coverage. It glides on really nicely and covers everything! - I've tried this both under my eyes and on my face to conceal blemishes which it works fab for! I have quite dry eyes so initially I was quite worried that  it would cling to my dry patches and go flakey, although I'm glad it didn't. It lasted all day after setting it with a translucent powder.

This concealer is super lovely and I would recommend it to anyone after a concealer with high coverage. It comes it a variety of different shades, suitable for a lot of skin types and colours. It costs £17.50, fairly reasonable for a high end concealer, especially comparing it to the Nars concealer which costs £5 more.

TOO FACED MELTED LIPSTICK 'CHOCOLATE HONEY'

Hi pals, welcome back to an actual blog post! *cheers* If you know me you'll know I'm not much of a lipstick lover, I really struggle finding colours that I actually like and suit me. However, more recently I've actually starting wearing some more muted nude colours - one fave being MAC 'velvet teddy'.

I've heard so much about Too Faced as a brand and the whole of their chocolate range and I know when I go to New York I'm going to go mad at all the cute packaging and chocolate loveliness. I recently saw a Youtuber wearing one of the melted lipsticks in a video, fell in love with the colour and went straight to my local Debenhams to pick one up. 

Too Faced has recently launched a new selection of melted lipsticks as part of their chocolate range, adding to the eyeshadows and bronzers. I believe there is 4 shades of nude colours featuring a variety of different colours suitable for different skin tones. The packaging like all of the Too faced makeup range is stunning, so cute but doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. I find with brands like Benefit you end up paying so much, mainly to fund the packaging. This lipstick costs £19 which I think is pretty reasonable.

I picked up the shade 'chocolate honey' which is the more neutral brown colour of the four. It's such a lovely colour, almost a lighter version of 'velvet teddy'. What I like about this lipstick other than the chocolate scent which smells like heaven, is the formula. Its so rich, creamy and really glides on to the lips. This has a really long-wearing formula which makes it perfect for everyday wear and nights out. It lasts all day without drying out the lips which I find a common issue with most lipsticks.

Overall, I really love this lipstick and the formula. Its such a pretty colour and really does live up to the long-wear claim. I've even hooked my mum on this, she's wearing it as we speak. I know when I go to New York I'm going to purchase a few more products from this brand! I think the chocolate scent is enough to convince me.

SALCURA SKINCARE

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. I officially started year 13 this week. How crazy. I have 1 year of school left and then I'm done -obviously besides uni and work but you know, still cray. I'm not going to lie trying to get out of bed on wednesday morning when I went back to school was difficult. I definitely pressed the snooze button a few too many times.

If you've been a longer follower of my blog you'll know I've worked with a brand previously called 'Salcura'. Salcura skincare is a brand based in the UK and create a variety of different skincare for dry skin problems and acne. They also use all natural ingredients which is a bonus. I had previously tried out the acne range which I loved, so when they contacted me asking if I would like to try out some skincare for dry skin I was super excited. 

The first product I am going to talk about is the 'Bioskin zeoderm face and body lotion*' This was my favourite product that I received. I used this when I came back from my holiday in attempt to keep my skin hydrated and try and prolong my tan. This stuff is fab, its so hydrating. What I like most about it is that it absorbs so quickly into the skin and doesn't leave you feeling sticky. This has a lovely scent, however, it is quite strong and I can't quite think of what it reminds me of. Don't you hate it when that happens? I've been using this on my elbows and knees which get particularly dry and I have noticed a big difference! The skin is much softer, smoother and generally more hydrated and less irritated. 

The next product I'm going to talk about is the 'Bioskin facial cleanser*' Like mentioned above the bioskin range is focused on dry skin types and soothing irritated skin. This sounded great, as although I don't have overly dry skin, it does get dehydrated from all of the spot lotions and creams I use. I have been testing this out for a few weeks now and I do like it when my skin is feeling particularly sore or irritated. This cleanser has a gel consistency which applies nicely onto the skin. The colour of this is a bright orange colour which I was surprised to find out, I wasn't expecting it! The scent is really nice and for some reason reminds me of mangos? Overall this is a lovely cleanser, however, I don't think I would use it everyday. I know it will be more suitable for  my skin type in the colder months as it will really work to soothe the skin form the harsh wind and cold weather. 

The last product is the 'Bioskin DermaSpray*' This spray is used to moisturise, hydrate and reduce skin redness. The purpose behind this is that you spray it onto your body and then massage it into the skin. I really like the concept of this product and the fact you can spray it onto your body -perfect for awkward areas like your elbows or shoulders. This product is a lot lighter in consistency compared to the face and body lotion but does a great job at soothing dry skin and keeping it hydrated. I think this is perfect for travelling and will definitely come in handy!

MARC JACOBS DAISY

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. As you're reading this I am on holiday! *squeels* It feels like forever since I last went away, even though, it was only last year. I actually really like flying (in a plane, obviously) and when I get to the airport I am always straight to duty-free, literally I am like magnet. Every year when I'm at the airport I like to by  perfume, not sure why. I guess its become some sort of a tradition.

If you know me, you'll know I'm obsessed with Marc Jacob fragrances, I literally have and love all of them! I don't know if it's the super cute packaging or the lovely, fresh and fruity scents. Either way, I picked up another one of his limited edition 'Daisy' scents. I really like the fact he brings out a limited edition version of this fragrance as I love the original! 

Like mentioned above, this comes in a same stye as the original perfume. However, the packaging is slightly different each time, this year the colours being pink and purple. I love the flowers on this perfume, they are so pretty!

The scent is pretty similar to others in this collection with a little twist. I'd say this is more fruity than others in previous collections which I love. It's a very sweet and pretty scent, which is perfect for summer. I love Marc Jacobs perfumes as they are so versatile, I love that I can wear them both during the daytime and the evening. This has been my go to scent throughout all of my holiday and I know I'll deffo still be using it when I get home, it's too nice not to!

TWO ON TRIAL: LUSH

Hi everyone, hope you're well! If you know me, you'll know I am a literally a Lush addict! I love their products and how cute they look, as well as how well they work. Recently I decided to pick up a couple of products (which aren't bath bombs) to try out that I haven't used before. 

The first product was 'Ocean Salt' a face and body scrub. I'd been wanting to try this out for the longest amount of time due to the constant recommendations I had been getting from friends and sales assistants in store. The two main ingredients in this product: obviously, like the name would suggest, fine sea salt -This is where you get the scrub like texture perfect for when you exfoliate. The other ingredient is lime extracted in vodka. Now, this surprised me I didn't expect to see vodka in a face product. However, a sales assistant explained to me that this is an anti-bactieral element and therefore also makes this good for blemish prone skin. Along with these two main ingredients, avocado butter is also used to brighten and soften the skin.

I've used this a couple of times and I love it. The scent is amazing, you can really smell the mixture of vodka and lime. -Its quite a strong scent, so if you prefer something more subtle I do believe Lush have another body scrub you could try out. I like this scrub as you can use it on both face and body. I tried this out on my face and it really did exfoliate my skin, leaving it smooth and soft. However, due to the vodka it can be quite strong on the skin, so be sure to use a small amount when using it on your face. 

The other product I decided to try out was another 'Fresh Face Mask' I love face masks, they are certainly one of my favourite steps in my skincare routine. I went into store hoping to repurchase 'Mask of Magnanimity' but they were unfortunately sold out. Instead I decided to try out 'Cupcake' as it sounded perfect for my skin which has been quite oily recently.

Here you can see a stunning picture of myself modelling the face mask. *do excuse the marks on my top, it has become the hair dye and face mask top so it very stained, oops* The scent of this mask is beautiful and does indeed smell of chocolate. The formula is quite thick. However, applies easily onto the face. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit apprehensive about how well this would wash off due to the thick consistency and colour. Although, I was very happy to see it rinsed of nicely and was actually a lot quicker and easier than I had expected. 

After I had washed the product off, my face was left feeling smooth and cleansed. This mask was so gentle on the skin! If you suffer from sensitive skin, give this one a whirl!

WHATS IN MY HOLIDAY MAKEUP BAG?

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. One of my favourite things about summer is being able to change up my makeup and incorporating a lighter base and a lot of bronzer! I go on holiday at the end of August so I thought I'd show you what makeup I'm taking with me.

However, I recently started using the Maybeline Colour Tattoos and they've literally changed my life! They make eyeshadow application so much easier! I'm not sure if I'll take both of my Naked pallets yet though.

Finally, onto lipsticks. I'm not a massive lipstick person either to be honest, I don't find they suit me that much. However, that has changed since I discovered MAC 'Velvet Teddy' lipstick. My mum actually had this before the Kylie Jenner craze started and I finally brought my own after constantly borrowing hers.  I also think red lipsticks look amazing with a tan!

NEW IN: MAYBELINE DREAM BRONZE BB

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I last even thought about writing a blog post. Its safe to say I have missed it and I'm excited to get back into the swing of things, especially since i've officially finished school for summer! *cheers* I'm hoping I'll be able to post more frequently and also include more fashion and outfit posts as they are my favourite!

Whilst shopping in boots I noticed this new 'BB Dream Bronze' from maybeline. This sounded really interesting to me, especially as I'm going on holiday at the end of august I thought it would be great to use as a base. 

This Dream Bronze BB is the third in maybelines BB collection I believe, with them having the original BB cream as well as the one that contains salicylic acid. I personally haven't tried any of the others, but this was the one that intrigued me the most. I actually quite like the simple, yet cute and pretty packaging. The tube makes it easy to squeeze out the right amount of product as well as it being small and travel friendly.
What I like most about this is the concept. It's a bronze like colour, almost like fake tan but you can apply it onto your face. As well as this, the BB cream adds the most perfect amount of coverage. Personally, I know when I go on holiday I'm going to be using this in the evening when I go out. If your like me, my face doesn't tan that much due to exfoliating and toning my skin, therefore this will work great to add a bit of a natural sun kissed glow. This also has SPF 25 which means it will also protect your skin from the sun!

HIGH END MAKEUP HAUL

Hi, everyone hope you're all well. I'm back at school now and I've officially started year 13. Its so crazy to say that this is pretty much my last year at school! It's gone by so quick and I feel like I now know what my parents meant when they tell me to really enjoy school and to embrace it because once you've left theres no going back. Anyway onto the post for today.

If you know me, you'll know I've been lusting over way to many makeup products for way to long! So I decided it was about time I picked a few products up that are at the top of my wish list. I picked up these on a trip to London with my mum. You won't believe me when I say this but that was my first trip to London to go shopping! It was amazing and I loved walking around and taking in the completely different atmosphere!

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel Bronzing Makeup Base

The first product I purchased I had been wanting for ages, after seeing many people talk about it online I knew I had to buy it. This is the Chanel Bronze Universal which in other words is a cream bronzer. The packaging like all Chanel products is beautiful I love the glass 'tub' if you want to call it. The colour is lovely, However is more of an orange tone than other bronzers I own. The constancy like you would think is a cream texture and applies lovely onto the skin, blending seamlessly. I think this would look fab on holiday with a tan!

Bare Minerals READY Foundation

I've previously tried the original loose powder version of the Bare Minerals foundation which I really love. However, mine is a few shades to dark as I brought it for a holiday. I decided to buy the pressed version instead as I'd read great reviews on how easy and fuss free it is to apply. The coverage is so lovely and build able, it can be used as a foundation alone, or as a setting powder to keep you looking matte and add more coverage. I got colour matched to the shade 210.

YSL touché éclat

I never normally wear makeup under my eyes as I don't particularly feel like I need it and I have quite dry under eyes so I find a lot of products tend to crease and look flakey. However, my mum loves the touché éclat and literally swears by it so I decided I would try it out. I used it once and I knew it was going to be perfect for me - it's so lightweight and blends effortlessly without creasing or clinging to drier areas. It doesn't have the most coverage but for something to brighten up a little bit it works really well!

The last product I purchased was a M.A.C lipstick. I brought the shade 'Ruby Woo' which I forgot to take pictures of -Don't hate me please. It's a lovely red colour and in my opinion is more of a brighter and pink toned red compared to 'Russian Red'

MAKEUP ON TRIAL

Following one of my recent posts 'skincare on trial' I thought I should do one on makeup too. I've received quite a few new makeup products due to it being my birthday a couple of weeks ago as well as purchasing a fair few myself! I know next on my list is the Chanel cream bronzer!

Giorgio Armani 'Luminous Silk' Foundation

I actually brought this a while ago after the constant love bloggers give it online. Knowing how many people love it finally persuaded me to purchase it, even though it might have cost me and arm and a leg at £36. MAC 'Soft and Gentle' Highlighter

I received this from one of my besties for my birthday after lusting over how pretty hers is. The colour is just stunning and I know its going to look beautiful when I'm on holiday with a tan. The new MAC packaging means this has a sort of magnetic clasp when it shuts and can I just tell you how satisfying it is when I close it. (I'm not the only one that thinks that right?) I am planning on doing a full review so stay tuned.

Rimmel 'Lasting Finish' Concealer

I spotted this when I was in Boots a couple of weeks ago and decided to try it out due to it claiming to be high coverage and really reminded me of the Estee Lauder 'Double Wear' concealer. I've actually really been enjoying this. At first I thought it was way to thick and hard to blend which therefore meant it was quite drying. However, I've realised its best to warm the product up before hand by using your fingers. This really helps the concealer to blend easy but keeps the high coverage. This concealer really does have full coverage and covers everything, blemishes, discolouration, redness, I also used it as an eyeshadow base/primer and it worked fab! I haven't tried it as an under eye concealer as I personally feel it could be a bit heavy and drying but it will probably work great for some people. Overall this concealer is great if you're after a high coverage concealer that isn't too expensive this was around £5-£6.

GIORGIO ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION

After hearing almost every blogger and youtuber talk about their love for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation I knew I would eventually need to purchase it. I brought mine from House of Fraser after reading Lily Pebbles 'What Shade Are You in?' post. I found her post really useful as I noticed we are similar shades in other foundations and concealers. I picked up the same shade she uses which is 4.5. However, I do wish I brought 4 as it would be an even better colour match. 

Firstly, lets talk about that beautiful packaging, so sleek and pretty. Which it should be for £36. (House of Fraser currently have 10% off if you're interested in purchasing it!) I like the glass bottle as it certainly does make it feel expensive and luxurious. However, for travelling I'm not sure how it would end up if you were to accidentally drop it -I don't even want to think about that disaster occuring!

I was quite surprised when I first pumped out this foundation onto the back of my hand. The consistency was a lot thinner than I had expected. My initial thoughts after I had applied it was that the coverage actually isn't that great. However, I didn't use that much, which suggests how build able the foundation is. I added another layer onto my face and like I mentioned the coverage was medium/full and looked beautiful.

If you know me you'll know I'm all about a matte base, which you will therefore ask why chose a foundation that claims to be 'luminous'? I have very dry/combination skin, weird I know. Therefore I wanted a foundation I could wear when I'm going out, having pictures taken and generally want my face to look pretty flawless, without it enhancing my dry areas. The first couple of times I used this foundation it did take me a while to get used to the more dewy effect it gives.

I personally, on my skin would say this is very hydrating and dewy. Which is good for me as it means it doesn't cling to any dry patches. Due to me being used to a matte base I did chose to mattify and set the foundation with some powder. - I'll either use a regular transparent powder, or my Bare Minerals powder foundation which adds a bit more coverage.

As for photography, this foundation is great due to it containing no SPF. I've worn this to a few parties and events in which I knew I'd be taking photos and like I expected they turned out great. *cheers for having no ghost face in pictures*

Overall, I would recommend this foundation. I think the real reason this is such a cult product is due to the way it photographs and how beautiful it looks. Like I mentioned I've only used it a few times so I'll deffo update you on my thoughts. I recommend getting colour matched and trying a sample simply due to the cost and because it comes in a whopping 21 shades!

SKINCARE ON TRIAL

Hi everyone, hope you're all feeling well. Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I've been revising and completing my AS exams at school, but yesterday I finished my last one and I'm so happy that I can get back into blogging! *cheers* I recently placed an online order from Escentual and thought I'd share some of the products I'm testing out. I love La roche Posay as a skincare brand, however, I've only really tried a couple of products out. One being the 'effaclar duo+' which works wonders for my skin. Knowing this I thought I should try out some more products from the brand.

I of course picked up another tube of the Effaclar duo+ as mine was running out. I can defiantly notice a different in my skin when I'm not using it. This serum like product helps to reduce the appearance of dark marks and pigmentation left from previous blemishes, as well as helping to moisturise the skin. 
I then picked up a couple of products I haven't tried before. Firstly I thought I would try out the matching face wash in the effaclar range  which is the Purifying gel face wash. My friend uses this and loves it and has told me numerous times how much it has helped her skin. This face wash is actually targeted towards oily skin which I think will be great now its starting to get a little bit hotter. 
Finally, I picked up the much raved about Serozinc I actually picked up two of these as there is a deal online where you can purchase two for £10, which is fab considering they normally cost £8 individually. I've only used this a couple of times, so I'm yet to have any proper thoughts about it. However, I might do a full review if your interested in knowing my full opinions?

I only picked up a few things from Escentual but I know when I place another order I'll be looking at the Nuxe lip balm.

ORIGINS CLEAR IMPROVEMENT CHARCOAL MASK

Hi everyone, hope your all well! Recently I picked up some Origins products to try out. I've never tried anything from the brand before, but the face masks have always been the one product that intrigued me the most. I'm a complete sucker for face masks, I'm pretty much addicted! I picked up clear improvement mask which is aimed towards oily and blemish prone skin.

 "Clear Improvement gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activate Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental pollutants, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that "stuff" down there, skin "breathes a sigh of relief." 

 I really love this mask as its completely different to others that I've tried. The consistency is quite thick when initially applied. However, a little bit goes a long way. I leave this on until it has completely dried before washing it off with warm water. One of the best things about this mask is that although it has a sort of clay consistency, its so easy to remove, I hate having to faff about whilst removing the product!

After I've removed the mask I can notice a great improvement in the size and appearance of my blemishes, everything is much more calmer and the redness has gone down. As well as helping to clear blemishes it also helps to clear pores from any dirt and excess oils which could potentially cause breakouts.

Overall I really enjoy using this mask. I've seen noticeable improvements in my skin after frequent use (I like to use it around 2-3 times a week, normally after a workout when my face has been sweating. I feel like it helps to really deep clean my skin.) I really would recommend this if your after a new face mask, its super fun due to the colour and really helps. If you have blemish prone or oily skin defiantly try this out, although origins do claim that it is suitable for all skin types!

ORIGINS GIFT SET

Hi everyone, hope your all well and had a lovely Easter. I have soo many chocolates and Easter eggs to eat, out goes the healthy eating routine I've been attempting. Even though Easter isn't a massive occasion in my family, it was soo nice getting to see all the family. I have quite a few relatives I don't get to see as often so its always nice getting to catch up! 

If you know me, you'll know I'm massively into skincare. As someone who has shit bad skin and suffers from acne and scarring I love trying new products. However, one brand I am still yet to venture in is 'Origins'. Apart from their 'super spot remover' I haven't tried any of their products. The Origins face masks have always been the one product from the brand that intrigued me. They always look so amazing and I've read thousands of great reviews. So recently I decided that I wanted to purchased one. The 'clear improvements' mask was always at the top of my list, especially recently as my skin has been breaking out like crazy.  When I popped into town I went to my nearest Origins counter and had a browse. I spotted this gift set (which doesn't have a name) and the products in side looked fab for my acne prone and very dry skin. -(I know the strangest combination, yay)

In this set you get the 'drink up intensive overnight mask' the 'clear improvements' mask and the 'modern friction' face scrub. Inside the little box there is also a face brush which you can use with the stub to really help exfoliate and deep clean your skin. I thought this was a fab set of products and great for me personally as it gives me the opportunity to try out a few Origins products. This set was also pretty good value for money costing £30, when one face mask costs £23 it works out to be quite the bargain!

I've yet to try out these products properly. However, there will be some full reviews up soon so keep your eyes out for them! Overall I really like the masks, they do exactly what they claim on the tube and they are such good quality! P.S. Shoutout to Mumma Parker for holding the tubes for me whilst I was taking pictures.

MARIO BADESCU SKINCARE

Hi everyone, hope your well, if you read some of my previous posts you'll know I've been trying out some Mario Badescu skincare products. Ive heard so much about this brand and I was so excited to try some out!

Incase you didn't already know my skin type,  I suffer from moderate acne and acne scarring. Like mentioned above I've heard so many good things about the Mario Badescu range and how great it is for spots and blemishes. I firstly picked up the 'drying lotion' which is one of the main products I had seen being spoken about everywhere, on blogs and youtube! It consists of salicylic acid and camomile which aims to clear up any blemishes overnight. To apply this you have to dip a cotton bud into the pink powder at the bottom and then apply to any areas. What I liked about this is that once you've applied it onto your face it dries almost instantly, so you don't have to worry about it getting onto your bedsheets or clothes. It stings a tiny bit when first applied but calms down pretty quickly. I always notice a difference when I wake up at the size of the blemishes which are clearly reduced. 

I then picked up the 'drying cream' which has a pretty similar application. Apply it onto any blemishes before bed (which is what i normally do, or during the day if i'm not going out) or they claim you can put it on under makeup to help conceal and treat the blemishes. I haven't tried the latter of the two so can't report back on that. If my face is feeling more sensitive that normal I will use this as its less harsh and doesn't sting my face. I also find that this helps to reduce redness and inflamation better than the drying lotion.

Overall, I'm really enjoying using these products, I have defiantly noticed a difference since I started using them. I will defiantly be trying out some more products from the brand! I really want to try the whitening mask!

THE BEST BRONZER? SOAP & GLORY SOLAR POWDER

Hi everyone, hope your all well. I have mocks this week at school and to say I'm worried is an understatement, but I've been revising hard so hopefully ill be fine! if you know me you'll know I'm a big bronzer gal, its defiantly one of my favourite things when putting my makeup on in the mornings. I feel like it really finishes my makeup look off. I'd heard so many good things about the Soap & Glory 'solar powder' and i'd been meaning to try it out forever.Although, in my local boots in always seemed to be sold out. However, a couple of weeks ago i saw it and instantly picked it up.

Initially I was a bit worried as it did look a bit shimmery. However, its so subtle and actually really pretty! I love the cute packaging on all the soap & glory products, its always so fun! The bronzer is a mix of a lighter and darker shade -which I swirl my brush in both to create the perfect colour. I love this as its subtle enough to use as an all over bronzer (I then follow up with Benefit' Hoola if I want to contour) This has been my current go to bronzer and I am in love! So happy I managed to get my hands on it!

GARNIER EXPRESS EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

Hi everyone, hope you well! I recently picked up this new Garnier Express eye makeup remover as I've started to experiment a bit more with eye shadow. I was a bit sceptical about purchasing this as i tried the Garnier micellar water and really didn't like it. However, I've been using this for nearly two weeks and I'm enjoying it so far.

What I love about this eye makeup remover is that its so gentle on my eyes. I have quite sensitive eyes which many eye makeup removers irritate. I also like the fact its more of a watery formula as it feels nice and fresh on the skin. I'm not a fan of the oil based removers. Overall this is a pretty decent eye makeup remover and it actually does take off my stubborn waterproof mascara which is fab. This was super cheap, only costing me around £3!

CURRENT FAVES

HI everyone, hope your all well! I can't believe the snow in some places! unfortunately we haven't had any where i live, which is a little disappointing, i love snow its so fun and looks pretty! Ive been trying out a few new products for a while, so here are my current faves.

Rimmel stay matte foundation: Ive had this foundation for what seems like forever now. I recently re-discovered this and once again reminded me that it defiantly is one of my drugstore all time favourite foundations. I love the mousse constancy and the full coverage look it creates. I did a review on this quite a while ago, but it you want more information click here.

Zoeva brushes: Im not going to say much about these brushes because everyone's seen them in the bloggersphere, but in a sentence, they look beautiful and work fabulously. My current faves out of the set are the ones featured above: '317 wing liner' and '110 face shape' However i recently did a review on the whole set-so if you want to see all the brushes click here.

Naked 2: I received this pallet as a Christmas present and ever since i got it i haven't stopped using it. The colours are so pigmented and pretty. Its perfect for both day and night looks and i love the variety of different colours avaliable. Obviously I've done a review on this too, so if you want to see my thoughts click here.

Benefit Rockatuer: I received this last year from my friend as a birthday present and i can truthfully say i pretty much use it everyday. I'm a big fan of pink/coral coloured blushes. It looks so pretty and natural on the skin and the lasting power is incredible. A good drugstore alternative is the 'Rimmel lasting finish blush in Santa Rose'

Mario Badescu drying lotion: I was lucky enough to get this for Christmas after many months of wanting to try it out and i can confidently say it was worth the wait. It dries up all my blemishes over night- you dip a cotton bud into the lotion and apply it onto any areas needed. Ive defiantly seen an improvement in my skin since using it. I've also been trying out some other products from this brand and they too have been fab. I'm planning on doing a full review so keep your eyes out!

BENEFIT HOOLA BRONZER

Hi everyone, hope your all well! I went back to school this week and boy was it hard attempting to wake up on monday morning. However, it was nice seeing some of my friends again that went away for christmas.  Another Christmas present i received was Benefits 'hoola' bronzer. This was something i had tried previously in one of the gift sets and loved, therefore knew i needed it in my life.

I am a bronzer gal, so when i received this i was very excited! (Before your all wondering i did flip the picture above as it looks better) I love this bronzer for contouring in particular, its the most perfect colour as its not orange or shimmery. The brush it comes with is great as its the perfect shape for getting into the hollows of your cheeks. Also the packaging like all Benefit product is super cute and defiantly sells the product. Ive been pairing this with my NYC sunny bronzer and its been fab -if your into contouring you'll love this bronzer!

URBAN DECAY NAKED 2

Hi everyone, hope you all had an amazing New Years, mine was pretty fab. This year i went to a sort of party if you want to call it and it was great being able to spend NYE with all my friends! Now 2015 is here -How crazy? I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads and follows my blog, it honestly means the world! From a personal point of view I'm really going to try to improve the content in which i feature. I'd really love to post more fashion and lifestyle posts -so that is my main goal for the year!

For christmas i was lucky enough to receive many beauty products which i had been lusting after for ages. One of them being the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet. Now if you know me, you'll know me and eyeshadow don't mix to well. However, in the last few months I've been practicing and I've finally come to the conclusion that i can now create an eyeshadow look that doesn't look like I've been punched in the face-so thats a step up right? I decided that i then needed to invest in some "proper" eyeshadows and therefore asked for an Urban Decay pallet.

The colours are so beautiful and pigmented. I attempted to create a gold smokey eye with this pallet and it actually turned out pretty nice -even my mum complimented how it looked so thats saying something as my mum thinks she's pro at eyeshadow! I also used the trusty Urban Decay primer potion which i had lying around in my makeup storage and it really did the trick. My eyeshadow didn't budge at all. The colours lasted amazingly well throughout the night and i was thoroughly impressed! I defiantly think these pallets are worth the money as they are such great quality -I know this will last me forever!

ZOEVA ROSE GOLD BRUSHES

Hi everyone, hope your well and all had an amazing christmas, i know i did. It was so nice to spend time with my family, friends and enjoy lots of food. I'll defiantly be going on a health kick now after the amount of chocolates I've eaten in the past week..way to many! I was lucky enough to receive the makeup brushes of my dreams. I've been after the Zoeva 'Rose gold brush set since it first came out. Im completed obsessed with rose gold, its so pretty!

Im already completely besotted with these brushes and i can already say that I'm defiantly going to be purchasing some more from the brand! All brushes are so soft and feel incredible when you apply makeup, to the extent where i'll happily pick one up and swirl it around on my face just for the sake of it.. i know I'm not the only one who does that right? Overall i love.love.love these brushes and you've probably read countless reviews on them so i'll stop blabbering on.
