LUSH: MASK OF MAGNANIMITY

Hi loves, hope your all well. If you read one of my previous posts (click here.) you'll know I've been trying out the Lush 'mask of magnanimity' My face recently has erupted in spots -how lovely. Therefore decided to try out a new face mask as my Una Brennan one has almost gone.
This mask is targeted towards blemish prone skin and can be used on face and back -which I think is fab! Lush have recently come out with a self preserving version of this mask which i guess means it will last longer? Which is a bonus!

"A multi-purpose mask with a mixture of gentle yet effective ingredients to clean, calm and clear the skin - now in a self-preserving formula."
"Easily smoothed over the skin anywhere you like, this mask is made with peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin; evening primrose seeds and aduki beans to gently exfoliate as you remove it. There’s also mineral rich kaolin to nourish, antibacterial honey, and peppermint oil to stimulate the blood cells just under the surface of your skin to leave it looking bright and refreshed."

Like you can see in the rather attractive picture above, the mask is a thick green coloured texture and smells of mint ice cream -yum! What i absolutely love about this mask is that when you wash it off it leaves my face feeling so soft due to it being quite exfoliating, yet its so gentle and doesn't leave my sensitive skin feeling irritated. As far as blemishes, I have defiantly noticed my skin and spots looking a lot calmer. Due to the mask being quite abrasive whilst washing it off I have noticed my scarring seem to reduce too. I have been loving this mask, to the point where I'm probably using it too much. In conjunction with my REN face wash which i also have been trying out (review to come) my skin is looking a lot clearer.

Thank you for reading my blog, be sure to follow on bloglovin. Have you tried this mask, whats your favourite?
