THE PERFECT DUO?

I know, your all probably sick of hearing me talk about how disappointed i am in Nars sheer glow, however recently in my last (post) i said i was going to try and use it a lot more throughout the month of may. After trying out many different ways of applying it (and i mean many). Using the real techniques 'complexion sponge' has changed my views on the foundation and the way it looks and stays on my skin.
I use the sponge damp after wetting it with cold water -this allows the sponge to expand in size and also help to stop the sponge from taking all the product. I simply dot the foundation all over my face and blend it in. easy peasy. Using the sponge is perfect for dry and sensitive skin as its super gentle and soft, also because the sponge is damp it helps to make the product not feel as drying on the skin when applying the foundation. The sponge application leaves the finish of the foundation looking really natural, yet flawless. I love that you can really build the coverage or have it sheer and natural.

  5. I'm not a fan of these sponges because I feel like they swallow up your foundation so much! Xx

Thats a shame, I didn't find that happens when i use it. I dot the foundation onto my face and then blend it in, rather than dipping the sponge in foundation on the back of my hand, Maybe that why? :) Also i find using a damp sponge helps. :)

  9. I love beauty blenders! I found a really good dupe and wrote a post over on my blog! Works well if you want a natural look, only downside is, they can be a pain to clean!
