PRODUCTS I'M MAKING AN EFFORT TO USE IN MAY

Hi everyone, hope your all well. I recently watched 'The perks of being a wallflower' for the first time, and i loved it! expect i now have the part where Patrick is yelling 'be aggressive, passive aggressive' -even though its one of my favorite parts! Anyway, today's post is based on 3 products i really should get more use out of. Although all 3 products are great, they're not the ones i reach for on a daily basis, however through the month of May i'm going to try and change that by using them.

Nars Sheer glow foundation: If you've been following my blog you'll know that i first bought the famous sheer glow foundation in December last year, however it just hasn't lived up to the high hopes and general hype that this product surrounds. (I did two review posts on this foundation -Linked below) Although it doesn't look amazing on my face -(It seems to become really patchy throughout the day) I'm going to stick at it and try and figure out why, because i actually really like the initial application. -If you have any tips, leave them below.

Benefit they're Real mascara: I wouldn't say this is a product I hate, or particularly dislike, but for me, I find that no mascara is particularly amazing, i love the maybeline ones from the drugstore! However I've had this one for a while now, therefore have decided its about time i used it up. The only thing i dislike about this mascara is that throughout the day it smudges on my eyelids (maybe i have oily eyelids -if that's possible?)

Sleek BlushBy3 'Sweet cheeks': I'm going to start of by saying that i love sleek blushers, they're so pigmented and affordable. Its just the colour of these ones, they're quite bright and loud, however now its summer, i think i'll be able to get more use for them, so i'll defiantly be making an effort to grab this palette when applying my makeup.

Thank you for reading my blog, be sure to follow. What do you think of these products? Are there any products your trying to use at the moment?

  3. I find that if a blusher is too bright for me going over that area with my powder will mute it while still letting the colour show through!

  6. Thanks for the introduction of 3 products. I've seen the NARS products a lot on other blogs and I've had expected it to be better. Perhaps it is a little too over-hyped that we have extremely high expectations of it, which it simply does not live up to? Anyway, the sweet cheeks blush seems nice though

hope we can follow each other :D
